We are very pleased to be able to confirm that Paradventures, a local Lanark based charity, will benefit from our programme sales from our forthcoming Spring Concert being held at St Nicholas Church on Friday 28th April at 7.30.pm
Paradventures is a registered charity run by a small group of individuals who have all come together with their raft of knowledge, skills and enthusiasm to facilitate adventures and activities for disabled people. These include adventure holidays, daytrips and outdoor learning days in a variety of outdoor environments including forests, hills and mountains.
Gordon McGregor is the founder of Paradventures, who had the inspiration to start this after many years of facilitating Adventure Holidays and being involved in large challenges with disabled people.
He has the drive and commitment to make Paradventures a success and is inspired by the people he is working with through the programs and events. They are following many different paths in their journey of discovery and it’s all about making that much needed difference to people’s lives through fun activities in our adventures.
He is a qualified Hill and Moorland Leader and outdoor first aider, who is supported by his wife Gillian, daughters Amy and Ellie and often joined by Benji the dog.
